Phia University (“Phia U”) is a unique program that supplements traditional training, and gives employees the opportunity to go from sitting behind a desk to sitting in a classroom.  Unlike traditional training, which focuses only on the “WHAT,” at Phia U our staff learns the “WHY” as well.  As a result, Phia U graduates not only learn how to maximize recoveries, improve client cost effectiveness, and master execution of all Phia Group services, but they also understand why The Phia Group’s services work, and how improving the health benefits industry improves everyone’s lives.

The topics covered in a Phia U classroom range from basic, fundamental topics such as Medical Payment Coverage, to advanced issues such as Fiduciary Duties.  The curriculum is constantly expanding to meet the needs of the staff, and to keep up with the ever-changing world of healthcare.  The Phia U program fosters learning and innovation by ensuring that each staff member has a solid understanding of our industry, and builds upon that knowledge through systematic, interesting, interactive lectures.  Lessons are taught by individuals known throughout the industry as trend setters and innovators, such as our CEO, Adam V.
