SunGard SBPA and The Phia Group, LLC Announce Product Integration Agreement

Houston, TX - SunGard SBPA, an operating unit of SunGard (NYSE: SDS), announced a technology integration agreement with The Phia Group, LLC to provide subrogation investigation and recovery services on a contingency basis to its Group Benefits Administration System (GBAS) customers.
Customers will receive a custom extract of processed claims, which The Phia Group will use as the basis for subrogation investigations. Utilizing specialized, proprietary recovery software and experienced subrogation specialists and attorneys, The Phia Group will relieve GBAS customers' from claims monitoring for potential third party liability.
Barbara Cullison, a business analyst with SunGard SBPA, said, "When our customers use the services of The Phia Group, they will be able to leave subrogation to the experts, knowing that their third party recoveries will be handled aggressively by recovery specialists who fully understand their business and are highly motivated."
