FirstCare Health Plans Contracts The Phia Group, LLC For Cost Containment Services
June 16, 2009- FirstCare Health Plans (FirstCare) has contracted The Phia Group, LLC to provide subrogation and reimbursement services for their plans effective immediately.
The Phia Group will be providing full cost containment services to FirstCare through the use of The Phia System™; analyzing FirstCare’s processed claims data for subrogation and reimbursement recovery potential.
“The Phia Group provides a very valuable service to employer and self-funded health plans,” said Steven Abalos, vice president of sales and operations. “The funds they recover go back into the health plan, which keeps the cost of health care premiums down.”
